In Community Acupuncture Clinics,  treatment is usually performed in a group setting.

Due to Covid, we have changed our model to do multiple treatments in separate rooms so we can still safely treat 3 patients per hour.

You will be treated on a table in a private room, and there will be people in other rooms, quietly receiving treatment at the same time.

 Treatments are scheduled every 20 minutes, so there will be a very short intake and then your treatment will begin.

All treatments are done face up on the table, and you will be on the treatment table about 30-45 minutes.

This treatment model allows us to give effective, individual treatments while seeing multiple patients per hour, which brings the cost down.

Research has shown that acupuncture is most effective when it is done frequently and regularly.

The lower price of community acupuncture makes this possible for more people.

 

​For the community clinic, there is no need to undress – just remove your shoes and roll up your pants and sleeves.

It is best to wear loose fitting clothing so we can access points on your legs and feet.

We will use points on the scalp, ears and below the elbows and knees to treat the entire body.

Many of the most potent points in acupuncture that treat all areas of the body, are located on the arms, legs, hands and feet.

Any ailment can be treated in the community clinic- even neck and back pain.
