Her needling technique is based on the Japanese style of acupuncture, a method that uses thinner needles and gentle needle insertion to achieve maximum results. This allows for an effective treatment with greater patient comfort.
Thea is a certified Sound Healer (PHI, Germany), using therapeutic singing bowls from Nepal. With her scientific background in cancer research augmented by her experience in movement therapy, deep relaxation techniques and multifaceted aspects of self-healing, she has become acutely aware of the needs of people affected by stress and dis-ease.
Sound healing is an ancient tradition that has been utilized by various cultures either by using mantras, medicine melodies, or intervals and frequency. The intention is to balance and harmonize the body, bring awareness and presence in, and deeply relax the body-mind-system.
During a healing session with Thea, with the bowls placed on your body, the sound spectrum with overtones supports your relaxation, the natural desire for harmony of the body, and positively influences the mobilization of it's self-healing power.
